I began collecting postcards in mid-August of 2013, after looking through my aunt's collection and thinking it seemed like a fun hobby. Along the way, something obviously went very wrong.

Card Text Back: Tote-Em-In Zoo is glad to announce that Matteau has made this zoo her permanent home. Tote-Em-In Zoo is located 4 miles north of Carolina Beach, N. C. on Highway 421. Matteau is an Indian Elephant, weighing over 3 1/2 tons and stands 9 ft. tall and has preformed before millions with some of the nation's largest circuses.
