I began collecting postcards in mid-August of 2013, after looking through my aunt's collection and thinking it seemed like a fun hobby. Along the way, something obviously went very wrong.

It contains 128,000 acres of wonderful scenery, consisting of mountains, picturesque gorges, beautiful lakes and streams. 90,000 acres are under fence and roaming unmolested within this enclosure are buffalo, elk, deer, big horn sheep, Rocky Mountain goats and antelope.

Card Text Back: Elk are members of the deer family. They are shy and generally seen in early morning and evening. Bulls grow and shed massive antlers annually. The Indians called them "Wapiti."

Card Text Back: Custer State Park is "home" for all the buffalo seen in the recent MGM cinemascope picture "The Last Hunt." This herd is largest in the United States. Because of the large area of Custer State Park - approximately 125 square miles - and because of the buffalo's natural desire for privacy - they often seek out the more remote places in the area.
