Species: Eastern Gray Kangaroo

Card Text Front: Greetings From Australia

Card Text Back: The Kangaroo is Australian and a truly unique animal. Generally living in bands of 20 and 50. Kangaroos are vegetarians, browsing for foo in the early morning and in the evenings, midday being reserved for rest and play. A full grown Kangaroo stands taller than a man and because of the powerful hindlegs is capable of bounding at high speeds and jumping great heights. Today, civilization has driven Kangaroos to the vast plains of the Outback where they live and breed in large numbers.

Species: Eastern Gray Kangaroo

Card Text Front: Australia Card - The great Kangaroos are the largest living marsupials in the world, and are found only on Australia. Like most marsupials, Kangaroos give birth to small, premature young. The "joey" (baby) finds its way into the female pouch and remains there for about 235 days. The largest are the red Kangaroos, found in the open inland plain. The long, strong tail is used as a balance when hopping and as a prop when resting. Kangaroos are ground feeders, eating various kinds of grasses and small plants.
