Card Text Back: Pronghorn in west Texas - This is just one of the unusual exotic game grazing in West Texas. The pronghorn antelope or prong buck is the only living species. Man has greatly reduced the pronghorn's numbers by hunting. When Europeans came to America, there was over 100 million. By 1924 hunting has reduced them to 30,000. Because of care and protection, however, they are now on the increase.
