I began collecting postcards in mid-August of 2013, after looking through my aunt's collection and thinking it seemed like a fun hobby. Along the way, something obviously went very wrong.

Card Text Back: Allentown, Pennsylvania - Buffalo herd - Lehigh County - Trexler Game Preserve. The Buffalo were natives of this area, but the early settlers drove them west. The late Col. Harry C. Trexler brought them east when he opened the game preserve. The game preserve with its herds of buffalo, elk and deer was bequeathed to Lehigh County.

Card Text Back: Scene at the Trexler-Lehigh County Game Preserve, Schnecksville, Pa - The Trexler-Lehigh County Game Preserve's 1107 acres lie in the picturesque Jordan Valley, eleven miles northwest of Allentown, Pa. Here roam eighty head of Buffalo, herds of wild palominos, American elk and deer. In pens are seventeen othe species to constitute the world's largest collection of hoofed animals.
