Trexler brought them east when he opened the game preserve. The game preserve with its herds of buffalo, elk and deer was bequeathed to Lehigh County.

Here roam eighty head of Buffalo, herds of wild palominos, American elk and deer. In pens are seventeen othe species to constitute the world's largest collection of hoofed animals.
