I began collecting postcards in mid-August of 2013, after looking through my aunt's collection and thinking it seemed like a fun hobby. Along the way, something obviously went very wrong.

Card Text Back: Prairie Dogs - Black Hills, South Dakota - These friendly little animal are really ground squirrels and live in highly organized towns on the prairies. Entrance to their burrowed homes are mounds which protect them from floods and serve as watch towers. Sentries bark at the first sign of danger, those nearest bark relaying the warning across the town. They eat grass, small plants and the tid-bits fed them by visitors.
