Card Text Back: Bear Mountain State Park, New York - The bears at Bear Mountain are in the Trailside Museum, a short walk from the Bear Mountain Inn. The name "Bear Mountain" was given to the mountain overlooking the Playfield because it resembled a reclining bear.
